Munde slams Congress for opposing flag hoisting

Mumbai, Jan 25 (PTI) Senior BJP leader Gopinath Mundetoday criticised the Congress-led UPA Government for trying toprevent the party activists from hoisting the national flag inSrinagar on the Republic Day.

"It is sad that the Government is preventing the hoistingof the national flag, and favouring separatist leaders," Mundetold reporters at a public meeting held here to support theparty''s Ekta-rally in Kashmir.

Munde demanded that the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah''sgovernment be dismissed, and President''s rule be imposed.

The BJP leader also said that Centre must not withdrawpara-military forces from the Jammu and Kashmir.
