Mediation centre would help speedy disposal of cases; HC CJ

Hazaribagh(Jharkhand), Jan 24 (PTI) Emphasing theimportance of mediation centres, Jharkhand High Court ChiefJustice Bhagwati Prasad today said due to growing population,the number of cases were increasing in the country and suchmediation centres could help speed up disposal of cases.

Inaugurating the centre at the Hazaribagh Civil Courthere, he said mediation centre would provide quick justice tothe people, but it could be successful only if advocatesco-operate in the implementation decisions in solving casesthrough mediation.

He said the lawyers would not lose income following thelaunching of centres as they would get more clients who wouldseek their opinion.

The Legal Services Authority of Jharkhand would provideall assistance to the centre, he said and added through thecentre problems could be solved easily.
