Hitachi to manufacture air-cooled chiller at Kadi from 2012

Ahmedabad, Jan 25 (PTI) Air-conditioner maker Hitachitoday said that it would begin manufacturing of air-cooledchillers meant for commercial and industrial establishmentsfrom its facility in Kadi, Mehsana, here from 2012.

The Indian subsidiary of the Japanese home appliancesmajor also plans to hike the prices of its ACs by 3-4 per centfrom next month, owing to the rise in raw material cost.

"We have drawn a road map for the company for year 2015,by which we are aiming at 15 per cent market share in ACs ofboth, split and window, categories," Hitachi Home
