Cong dubs BJP''s flag hoisting plan a political ''tamasha''
New Delhi, Jan 25 (PTI) Congress today dismissed aspolitical "tamasha" the opposition BJP''s agitation forhoisting national flag at Srinagar''s Lal Chowk tomorrow.
"Whatever they (BJP) are doing is not an expression ofpatriotism. It is a political tamasha and they should not havedone this," party general secretary Janardan Dwivedi toldreporters here.
Dwivedi, who is also AICC media department chief, saidthat nobody should do politics on such an issue.
"In such a situation, in the name of the national flagand Republic Day, no one should do anything which spoils theatmosphere in the state and the country and hampers nationalinterest," he said.
On the issue of blackmoney stashed in banks abroad,Dwivedi said, "Whatever the finance minister (PranabMukherjee) has explained should be enough," he said.
