Chavan hardsells Maharashtra to investors at CII meet
Mumbai, Jan 25 (PTI) Hardselling Maharashtra todomestic and foreign investors, Chief Minister PrithvirajChavan today urged entrepreneurs to set up their venturesin the state as it offers "a good market" to them.
"There is a good market for both Indian and foreigninvestors in Maharashtra. If you invest in the state, we willprovide you hassle-free clearances," Chavan said at the CIIPartnership summit here today.
The state has the most conducive business climateapart from high-class infrastructure essential for businessgrowth, Chavan said.
"Maharashtra has good infrastructure in terms of air,road and rail connectivity...quality institutes, etc.
Entrepreneurs should take advantage of these," Chavan said.
Pitching for Maharashtra as an investor-friendlydestination, Chavan offered full co-operation to investorsinterested in investing in the state.
Sectors such as automobiles, biotech, infotech and ahost of others offer a great business potential, Chavan said.
