Auto driver commits suicide

Bangalore, Jan 25 (PTI) Unable to suffer the humiliationmeted out to him by his brother and neighbours for being analcoholic, an auto driver allegedly committed suicide at hisresidence here today, police said.

Gangaraju (34) and his brother Ramu (38), employed in aprivate firm were living in two different houses in the samebuilding.

Ramu used to regulary illegally draw power fromGangaraju''s residence. Yesterday after Gangaraju came homefully sozzled, he had an heated argument with Ramu over theissue and was allegedly humiliated and beaten up by him andsome of the neighbours.

Smarting under the insult, Gangaraju ended his life byhanging himself when his wife was away to a nearby shop.

Ramu had been arrested.
