Can't disclose black money offender's name: Pranab

New Delhi, Jan 25: UPA's troubleshooter and Union Finance Minister Mr. Pranab Mukherjee in a press conference on Jan 25 said that the Central government has nothing to hide in the case of black money stashed in Swiss banks.

On being asked why has the government then has not disclosed the names of those having the accounts, he said that no information could be shared publicly as it will be a violation of international norms.

He also stressed the importance of knowing the source of the black money and estimated it to be between $500 bn and $1400 bn.
