Not nursing ambition to occupy PM''s post: Nitish
Patna, Jan 24 (PTI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumartoday ruled himself out of the race of contenders for thePrime Minister''s post in future, saying that he did not haveany such ambition.
"I have been given an appointment letter by my employers(public) to serve Bihar for the next five years to the best ofmy ability and intelligence," he said at a function here tomark the birth anniversary of the socialist leader and formerChief Minister Karpuri Thakur.
The JD(U) leader said it will be the biggest service ofhis life if he succeeded in taking Bihar among the developedstates in the next five years.
In a lighter vein, Kumar said, "I know many chiefministers have lost their jobs after dreaming about occupyingthe prime minister''s post...I am not going to follow in thefootsteps of those leaders....I will rather concentrate ondoing my job."
