MP govt lagging on all fronts:Pilot

Indore, Jan 24 (PTI) Taking a dig at the BJPgovernment in Madhya Pradesh, Union Minister of State forCommunications and IT, Sachin Pilot today said that the statewas lagging behind on all fronts.

"According to figures, the state was lagging behind inalmost all fronts like investment, preventing atrocitiesagainst women and tribals, malnutrition problem and childmortality among other fields," Pilot told reporters on thesidelines of a function here.

The Minister said that the state government instead ofissuing hollow statements, should work for the people andfulfil their aspirations as they have given it a mandate todo so.

Earlier, Pilot with the help of video conferencingconnected eight post offices situated in the tribal dominatedand far flung area with an ambitious project - Arrow, aninitiative aimed to transforming postal services.

Besides, he also dedicated 35 mobile towers in thestate.
