Man lynched to death

Madhubani, Jan 25 (PTI) A man was lynched to death bya group of people following a dispute between them in Rautaniavillage under Phulparas police station in Bihar''s Madhubanidistrict today, a police official said.

Following an altercation over felling of a treebetween them, the assailants rained blows from their lathis onone Jasodhar Yadav (35) resulting in his death on the spot,the Superintendent of Police (SP) Saurabh Kumar said.

The body has been sent for post-mortem, he said.

An FIR has been lodged at Phulparas police station byYadav''s brother naming Ram Kumar Yadav and four other accusedpersons as the accused in the murder case, Kumar said, addingno no arrest has been made as yet.
