Lucknow, Jan 25 (PTI) Amar Singh''s Lok Manch is facingexodus of leaders and supporters as they were returning toSamajwadi Party after getting frustrated over the lack of anyagenda and programme in the newly-launched political outfit, aSP leader has said.

Almost 200 people who had sided with Singh when he hadfloated the Lok Manch in May last year have returned to the SPwith fifty of them coming back this week itself, Anil Rajbhar, the former state unit president of the Lok Manch who returnedto the Samajwadi Party, said.

"There is no political movement in the Lok Manch whichstill has not started the move to set up its organisation atthe district-level even when the Assembly polls are not toofar away."

The party has seen no discussions over the upcomingAssembly polls and focus seems to be on how to "bargain" powerin Uttar Pradesh, Rajbhar claimed, adding that there is no"big name" of the SP left with Amar Singh now.

"Amar Singh is not a serious political person andlacks political agenda and this is the reason as to those whohad supported him when he floated his Lok Manch are now comingback in a big way," SP spokesman Rajendra Chaudhary said.

Singh has not shown any seriousness on those issuesthat he took up like separate Purvanchal and poverty, he said.

The ones like Jaya Prada are with him because of theirpersonal rapport, Chaudhary added.

Sources in the Amar Singh camp, when contacted, saidthat only a couple of youths have left the party and it shouldnot be taken as any sign of desertion.

They also lashed out at the Samajwadi Party forcreating confusion among Lok Manch supporters in this regard.
