Dy CM for ensuring optimum results on ground in J

Udhampur, Jan 24 (PTI) Jammu and Kashmir Governmenttoday streesed for "judicious and timely utilisation" of fundsand execution of works with transparency.

Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand exhorted officers toachieve the optimum results on the ground in a stipulated timeframe, with a focus to complete the works.

Chand, who is also the Chairman of DistrictDevelopment Board (DDB)in Udhampur was addressing ameeting to review the physical and financial progressregistered under different sectors in the district.

Expressing his satisfaction over 75 per centutilisation of plan funds ending December 2010, he called for"sincere and honest efforts" of the officers of variousdevelopment departments in achieving result oriented progressof work on the ground.
