Blind murder cases solved: Police

Ghaziabad, Jan 24 (PTI) Police here today claimed tohave solved three blind murder cases, including one in whichthey had sent a wrong person to jail.

On 14th January last year, one Deepak Teotia was founddead in drain in Raj Nagar. His motorcycle and mobile phonewere missing. Police claimed to have worked out the case andarrested a person, police officials said here today.

Later police recovered the mobile phone from one Arjunand arrested him and two others. The vehicle was sold by themfor Rs 3000.

In another case, body of 22-year-old Nitin was foundin Loni town on January 19 and police arrested three persons,identified as Gulab, Vikash and Gobinda, who allegedly killedthe youth for demanding repayment of his loan of Rs 5000.

One farmer Rajbeer was shot dead in Saitli villagehere on 4th November.

Delhi police today arrested two persons, identified asKapil of Modinagar and Naveen of Baghpat.

Both confessed here before police that they got acontract to kill Rajbeer for Rs 2 lakh.

Cases were registered in all the three cases, policesaid.
