Traffic policeman among two killed in road mishap

New Delhi, Jan 24 (PTI) A traffic policeman and a cyclistwere killed and a car driver was injured today when a speedingschool bus hit them, police said.

The incident took place in Burari area at around 11 am.

The bus first hit the cyclist and the policeman and thensmashed into the car.

The driver of the bus belonging to New Jeewan AdarshPublic School first hit cyclist Rahul (20) and then crushedpoliceman Vakiluddin (33), who was sitting on a motorcycle.

The bus then hit the car, injuring its driver Pawan.

The driver, who fled the spot, and a conductor were inthe bus at the time of the mishap.

Rahul, Vakiluddin and Pawan were rushed to SushrutaTrauma Centre where the first two were declared brought dead.
