Student succumbs to injury

Rourkela, Jan 24 (PTI) Eight-year old SukantaXalxo, who was admitted to the Ispat General Hospital (IGH)with head injury, succumbed to his injuries last night.

The condition of two other students was stated to beout of danger.

Three class students of a tribal Sevashram shool atRangamatia were admitted to IGH yesterday after they wereinjured in the school water tank which collapsed whilebathing.

Police said the students were injured when a portionof the newly constructed over head water tank fell on them atthe state government-run-residential school.

A case was filed in this connection by the police.
