Robbers kill Indian, injures other in Moscow

Moscow, Jan 24 (PTI) An Indian national was killed andanother injured after being badly beaten up by a group ofrobbers who forcibly entered into their apartment in eastMoscow, police said.

Four robbers entered into the apartment shared by thetwo Indians on Shcholkovskoye Highway yesterday and tied themwith scotch tape, they said.

The Indians were badly beaten up by the robbers andone of them succumbed to injuries, Interfax reported quotingpolice.

Valuables and cash worth USD 500 were robbed from theapartment rented, they said, without disclosing the identityof Indians.

"A criminal case has been launched and the localbranch of Investigations Committee is conducting the probe," apolice spokesperson said.
