Nitish opposes BJP''s ''yatra''
Patna, Jan 24 (PTI) BJP ally and Bihar Chief MinisterNitish Kumar today opposed the party''s plan to hoist thenational flag in Sringar saying it has "no meaning" given thekind of tension prevailing in Kashmir Valley.
"Given the kind of tension that is prevailing in thevalley, this yatra (Rashtriya Ekta Yatra) has no meaning and Idon''t support this", Kumar said when asked about his views onBJP''s plan.
Though it is "an internal matter of BJP, I am opposedto the plans. My party President has also been speaking aboutit", Kumar said after participating in a function organised tomark the 87th birth anniversary of Jan Nayak Karpoori Thakur.
