Desert state gets respite from biting cold
Jaipur, Jan 24 (PTI) People in Rajastahan got arespite from the biting cold today with night temperaturesremaining 2 to 4 degrees Celsius above normal in many parts.
Sri Ganganagar was the coldest place in the state witha low of 4.7 degrees Celsius, the Met department said here.
While Churu recorded a minimum of 7.4 degrees Celsius,Jaipur registered a low of 10.6 degrees Celsius and Jaisalmersettled at a minimum of 11.3 degrees Celsius.
Dabok recorded a low of 11.8 degrees Celsius followedby Ajmer with a low of 12.3 degrees Celsius. Bikaner recordeda minimum of of 12.6 degrees Celsius while Kota registered aminimum of 14 degrees Celsius.Weather conditions will remain the same during thenext 24 hours, the MET department said.
