Copra Rajapur declines on sluggish demand

Mumbai, Jan 24 (PTI) Copra Rajapur prices dropped at thespices market here today due to subuded demand from stockistsas well as lower export offtake.

Meanwhile, copra Kozhikode firmed up on better retailbuying amidst good demand from millers.

Copra Rajapur Mumbai declined by Rs 100 per quintal toRs 8,400 from last weekend''s closing level of Rs 8,500.

However, copra office Kozhikode gained by Rs 50 perquintal to Rs 6,200, as against Rs 6,150 last weekend.

Other spices closed stable in the absence of necessarybuying support.
