Naidu demands Centre to reduce hiked petro prices

Hyderabad, Jan 22: Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday, Jan 22, demanded the Centre and State government to immediately reduce prices of essential commodities including food articles, diesel and petrol.

Before embarking on a cycle rally to protest against rise in the prices of petrol and diesel here, Naidu interacted with traders at Monda Market here. He enquired about problems of the traders. The TDP chief was scheduled to lead the TDP rally from Monda Market to Indira Park here.

Speaking to mediapersons, he vowed to fight till the prices of essential commodities come down. Poor were not able to buy essential commodities with the skyrocketing prices, he added.

He blamed the State and Union governments for the price rise and demanded to take immediate steps to reduce the prices of all essential commodities.
