HM defends Governor over prosecution orders on CM

The Home Minister said that it is not a new matter where a governor permitting to lodge cases against a chief minister or a minister of state. The governor's sanction of orders against the CM Yeddyurappa was in accordance with law, he added.
He added that it is not proper and unacceptable on the part of the BJP to call for a shutdown in Karantataka against the Governor HR Bhardwaj. In a statement the home minister asked the Karnataka government and the BJP to maintain law and order in the state.
The spat between the CM and the governor had been going on since a couple of days and now it has come on to the streets with the BJP's shutdown protest.
The BJP and the Chief Minister now should fight in the court of law against the governor's prosecution order. Advocates-Siraj Bhasha and K N Balaraj had complained to the Governor against the chief minister. Now the advocates have announced to file cases, in a day or two, against chief minister on corruption charges and land scams.
