Select copra spurts on rising demand

Mumbai, Jan 21 (PTI) Copra Rajapur and copra edibleprices rose further at the spices market here today due tosustained buying from stockists and traders amidst higherexport demand.

Copra Rajapur Mumbai surged by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs8,400 from overnight closing level of Rs 8,200 and copraedible Mumbai firmed up by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 7,800 asagainst Rs 7,750 yesterday.

Rest of the spices maintained a stable trend in theabsence of market moving factors.
