12 injured in clash over road construction in Muzaffarnagar
Muzaffarnagar, Jan 21 (PTI) At least 12 people wereinjured when a clash broke out between two groups overconstruction of a road at Wajidpur village in the district,police said today.
The under-construction road, built by the panchayat,was objected to by some villagers. Yesterday two groupsentered into an argument over the issue which led to clashesinjuring 12 people, including some women.
The injured have been admitted to a hospital.
Security has been beefed up in the village to avoidany untoward incident.
