regional discover Smart Drive across Kerala flagged-off

Kozhikode, Jan 21 (PTI): To celebrate the success of Figowith consumers across Kerala, Ford India today kick-startedits first regional ''Discover Smart Drive'' across the state.

During the 600 km journey across Kerala, the chosen luckycouple- Krishna Prasad and Rajashree Raghavedra from Bangalorewill get the chance to discover scenic tourist destinations inthe Figo, which won the coveted Indian Car of the Year 2011title, Anurag Mehrotra, Vice-resident, Marketing Ford India,told mediapersons here today.

''Aimed to explore God''s own country in India''s own car ofthe year, the regional discover Smart Drive will connectconsumers around Ford dealerships in Thrissur, Kochi andKottayam before culminating at Thiruvananthapuram'', he said.

''It has been one of our dreams to explore India and wecould not have asked for a better start'', Prasad said.

The couple were selected from an online contest invitingyoung couples willing to participate in such cross countrydrives.

The selection was made from among 500 entries received,he said.
