Brit facing jail in Dubai after being caught with lover is an ex-lapdancer
London, Jan 21 (ANI): The British woman, who has been jailed in Dubai after she was caught in bed with her lover, is said to have been a former lapdancer.
Danielle Spencer is at the moment being held in a grim prison on the outskirts of the desert city, waiting to see if she will be charged.
"Danielle is a real party girl and viewed her life in the Gulf as a real adventure," the Sun quoted a close pal as saying.
"She left England in 2003 after working as a lapdancer in Hull and at Spearmint Rhino in Birmingham.
"She wanted a better life for herself abroad, but I bet she now wished she had stayed at home," the friend stated.
Spencer from Hull, East Yorks, and her lover Toby Carroll, were quizzed on suspicion of having sex outside marriage and indecent behaviour.
"Danielle has always been very popular with guys and she isn't exactly shy. So it's just like her to be caught up in something like this," the friend added. (ANI)
