Youth found dead under suspicious circumstances

Srinagar, Jan 20 (PTI) A 19-year-old youth was todayfound dead under suspicious circumstances in Ganderbaldistrict of Kashmir sparking protests by locals, officialssaid here.

Body of Feroz Ahmad Dar, who reportedly went missinglast evening, was recovered near his house at Wusan inGanderbal, 23 kms from here, this morning, they said.

Soon after the recovery of the body, locals took tostreets and also blocked the main road demanding a probe intoDar''s death, they said.

The protestors later dispersed peacefully after policeassured them that a case has been registered and furtherinvestigations are on.
