Train services disrupted for several hours

Muzaffarnagar, Jan 20 (PTI) Train services on theDelhi-Ambala route were disrupted for several hours when anoverhead electric wire was removed by unidentified persons atBhensi village in the district, railway officials said today.

Some unidentified persons cut and stole around 160meters of under-construction overhead electric wire yesterday.

A passing goods train noticed the wires lying on thetrack and halted, after which train services on the route weredisrupted for about four hours, they said.

An investigation has been started to probe the matter,the officials said.
