Tibetan Parliament expresses condolences to flood-hit victims
Dharamsala, Jan 19 (PTI) The Tibetan Parliament-in-exile today conveyed its deep condolences to the peopleaffected by the devastating floods in Australia and Brazil.
In a statement issued here today, it said, "TheParliament-in-exile is deeply saddened by the devastatingfloods, which has hit parts of Queensland in Australia and Riode Janeiro in Brazil."
The floods in Australia have claimed at least 20 livesand in Brazil more than 500 people have died and thousands arerendered homeless.
The standing committee of the Tibetan Parliament-in-exile offers its deep condolences to the surviving familiesand relatives and prays for their quick emotional and physicalrecovery, the release added.
