Owner of ice factory found dead

Barasat (WB), Jan 19 (PTI) The owner of the icefactory in North 24 Parganas district, wherefrom ammonia gashad leaked resulting in the death of one person, was founddead tonight, police said.

Manjur Ali, 50, a resident of Barrackpore, was founddead on railway tracks in between Madhyamgram and Hridyapurrailway station in the district.

Prima facia, police suspect it to be a case ofsuicide.

On December 31, one person had died and around 30 wereadmitted to hospital after ammonia gas had leaked from the icefactory at Mohanpur.
