Man commits suicide

New Delhi, Jan 19 (PTI) A 46-year-old man, who wasliving at his friend''s place in south-east Delhi after a fightwith his wife over his drinking habits, allegedly committedsuicide, police said today.

The incident took place in Okhla last night and thevictim has been identified as Dulal Mahapatra, who hailed fromMidnapore of West Bengal.

Mahapatra was found hanging in his friend''s house inTekhand village where he was living after a fight with hiswife who used to object to his drinking habits, police said.

Mahapatra has a house in Aali village but left it a fewmonths ago to stay with his friend Bansi Lal.

Lal told police that the deceased was under depressionfor the past few days.
