Copper, brass rally on global cues
Mumbai, Jan 19 (PTI) Copper and brass prices rallied inan otherwise steady non-ferrous metal market here today onincreased stockist and industrial demand on the back offirming trend at the London Metal Exchange (LME).
Copper cable scrap, copper wire bar and brass sheetcutting rose by Rs 5 per kilo each to Rs 458, Rs 486 and Rs314 respectively from overnight closing level of Rs 453, Rs481 and Rs 309.
Copper sheet cutting firmed up by Rs 4 per kilo to Rs432 as against Rs 428 previously.
Copper scrap heavy, copper armiture and brass utensilsscrap all moved up by Rs 3 per kilo each to Rs 449, Rs 438and Rs 304.
Copper utensils scrap edged up by Rs 2 per kilo to Rs410.
