Shame Game continues; Oz to sue Kalmadi & Co

Several Australian companies served important role in accomplishing Commonwealth Games (CWG 2010) successfully. Now, those companies raised voice against the organising committee over professional apathy, non-payment of bills and no efforts to communicate.
Sources said that millions of dollars are owed to 30-40 foreign companies include contractors, equipment suppliers, vendors and consultants. The organisers have also been accused of unethical behaviours during the Games which was held in New Delhi in Oct 2010.
Almost 10-20 million dollars for the various services performed during the opening and closing ceremonies of CWG 2010 is yet to pay, claimed Australian contractors.
Piled on the embarrassment, the Australian government had asked the Govt of India to ensure the companies are paid their dues in Nov 2010.
