Kingfisher''s Mum-Bhubaneshwar flight makes emergency landing

Mumbai, Jan 19 (PTI) A Bhubaneshwar-bound Kingfisherflight from here with 117 passengers on board returned to theairport due to a technical fault after being air-borne foraround one and half hours.

The flight landed back safely at 3.15 pm.

"Full emergency was declared at 2.31 pm for KingfisherAirlines flight IT 3141 (Mumbai-Bhubaneshwar) due to atechnical problem. The flight landed safely at 3:15 pm,"a Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) said.

The full emergency was withdrawn at 3:18 pm, thespokesperson said adding the flight had taken off from Mumbaiat 1:51 pm for Bhubaneshwar with an endurance time of threehours.

When contacted, Kingfisher Airlines spokesperson saidthe commander decided to take back the flight to Mumbai afterhe received a "cautionary alert" from one of the systems. PTIIAS KRK
