Envoy's flight of shame for India in New York

The envoy in question is Alok Ranjan Jha who has been recalled from New York for misbehaving with Air India flight attendants while on his way to New York. Jha is a diplomat with the UN and sources have revealed that he was drunk.
Alok Jha had exposed his vile deeds earlier when he misbehaved at the John F Kennedy International airport on Jan 7. The IAS topper in his batch in the 2002 UPSC exams has caused major embarrassment among the diplomatic circles and the ministry is doing everything to bring the guilty to the books.
Sources in the MEA have been quoted as saying, "It was an unfortunate incident. The matter has been immediately and thoroughly looked into. The officer stands transferred back and necessary follow-up action will be taken."
