Heavy rush of devotees at Tirumala

Tirumala, Jan 19: On account of Garudotsavam on Wednesday, Jan 19, there was a huge rush of Lord Balaji devotees in Tirumala.

The devotees were waiting for the deity's darshan in 25 compartments of the Vaikuntam Queue Complex here. While 'Sarvadarshan' was taking 12 hours, special darshan was taking five hours for the devotees.

As the devotees' influx was huge on account of full moon day on Wednesday, 'Laghu darshan' was implemented by the temple authorities.

A procession of the deity of Lord Venkateswara (Balaji) is to be taken out on 'Thirumada' streets of the temple town between 7 pm and 9 pm on the same day.
