Akai launches its triple SIM phone in India- Trio

New Delhi, Jan 19: The Japan-based electronic products manufacturer Akai, has come out with a brand new model of mobile phones. The new Akai Trio is said to be the first triple SIM phone in India. However, Intex had already launched a triple SIM (CDMA+GSM+GSM) here, but, Trio is the India's first triple GSM SIM supporting handset.

Trio enters Indian markets as a contender with the features like, a 2-inch display, 1.3-megapixel camera, FM radio, audio and video player, Bluetooth, WAP, GPRS, a flashlight/torch, a memory card slot, and support for blacklisting.

That is not all, it also have an e-book reader, expandable memory option to 8GB. Trio offers 5 hours of talk time and up to 400 hours of standby time.

AKAI Trio comes at an affordable price of Rs 3,295, with one year warranty. It would be available across 15,000 retail outlets in India.
