Telangana: Cong summons its 'Seemandhra' MPs

New Delhi, Jan 18: Congress high-command has convened a meeting of its MPs from Royala Seema and coastal Andhra Pradesh areas. The MPs meeting is a prelude to the proposed all-party meeting on the Srikrishna Committee's report on Telangana.

The Congress MPs from the non-Telangana areas of AP are to meet the Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee on January 20.

It is said that former Chief Minister K Rosaiah has already reached Delhi following the party's diktat.

The Congress high-command's meeting with the MPs of non-Telangana areas of AP is significant for its further move on the Telangana issue.
