RTI a good way to expose corruption: Minister
Medininagar (Jharkhand), Jan 17 (PTI) The people shoulduse the Right to Information Act regularly to ''exposecorruption'', Jharkhand HRD Minister Baijanth Ram today said.
"The RTI is a good way to expose and prevent corruption,"Ram said at a function at Chenpur near here.
Delving on the importance of development in rural areasand the post-panchayat elections, he said with the completionof the 3-tier panchayat polls the rural bodies shouldeffectively commit in the development process.
"Funds will now directly go to the panchayat bodies. Andthey can take decisions on programmes and schemes for theireffective implementation," he added.
The minister said over a period of time the people in thevillages would be aware of grassroots democracy.
