Lodha Dev awards World One contract to ACC-Simplex Infra JV
Mumbai, Jan 17 (PTI) Realty major, Lodha Developers,has awarded a Rs 450-crore contract for civil construction ofits tallest residential building in Mumbai--World One--to ajoint venture formed by Arabian Construction Company (ACC) andSimplex Infrastructure.
"ACC brings unique knowledge of high rise constructionand global best practices and Simplex provides significantcapability and resources in the Indian context. We believethat this consortium is best suited to build independentIndia''s most iconic building," Lodha Group''s ManagingDirector, Abhisheck Lodha, said.
ACC has constructed some of the tallest buildings inthe world, including Princess Tower, Dubai (100 floors),Etihad Towers, Abu Dubai (74 floors) and Pentominium, Dubai(100+ floors), a press note issued here said.
The 117-storeyed residential project is expected to becompleted by 2014.
