Jagan to resume yatra from tomorrow
Hyderabad, Jan 17 (PTI) Former Congress MP Y S JaganMohan Reddy would resume his ''Odarpu Yatra'' in Visakhapatnamdistrict of Andhra Pradesh from tomorrow.
Jagan had kicked off his yatra in Visakhapatnam districton January 3 and took a break from January 9 to undertake aone-day fast in Delhi on January 11 to highlight the adverseimpact of the Krishna Water Disputes Tribunal on AndhraPradesh farmers.
Jagan would conduct the ''Odarpu Yatra'' (tour forconsoling the families of those who died following the deathof his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy) in Visakhapatnam tillJanuary 22 from tomorrow, sources said.
His fast in Delhi created a sensation as about 25 MLAs ofthe ruling Congress joined him. The former MP maintained thathe was doing a favour to Congress by asking the MLAs loyal tohim not to quit the party for now.
Jagan, who is expected to launch his political party soonin his native Kadapa district, has so far covered WestGodavari, Khammam, East Godavari, Srikakulam, Prakasam andNellore districts as part of his yatra.
