Four policemen suspended after undertrials flee

Etawah (UP), Jan 18 (PTI) Four policemen were todaysuspended after three undertrials fled from their custodywhile being taken to a Jaipur court for hearing, policesources said here.

Mohammad Sahil, Suraj and Ajay Rai fled this morningfrom Awadh Express train at Balrai station while they werebeing taken to Jaipur for a hearing, they said.

The trio were earlier lodged in the district jailhere.

The district SP

suspended the four policemen -- PrimitSingh, Pravin Kumar, Shripal and Kovinder Kumar -- fornegligence.

The four were sent to jail.
