Fire at IOC facility near Mumbai
Mumbai, Jan 18 (PTI) A major fire broke out at anIndian Oil Corporation (IOC) installation near here earlytoday.
The fire broke out around 2 AM at the Indian oilfacility at Taloja industrial area near Mumbai, fire brigadesources said.
Fifteen fire engines have been rushed to the spot andthe blaze has been partially brought under control.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, theysaid.
There were reports that around 40,000 litres oflubricant oil stored in the IOC godown at Taloja was destroyedin the fire, they said.
However, there was no confirmation of the same fromthe IOC.
