Class IV student detained by school for not paying fees
Burdwan(WB), Jan 17 (PTI) A class IV student of a privateEnglish medium school in Durgapur was detained by the schoolauthorities for around four-hours today for not paying thefees, father of the student alleged.
Pancham Singh alleged that his son Roshan was detained bythe school authorities from 4 pm to 8 pm as he had failed topay the school fees.
The Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) of Durgapur Moumita Basusaid she had sent an Executive Magistrate to investigate thematter after she learnt about the matter.
When the Executive Magistrate reached the school hefound that the boy has been allowed to go by the schoolauthorities, the SDO added.
