CII ties up for setting up job site

Chennai, Jan 18 (PTI) Aimed at providing a commonplatform for industry and academia, industry body CII todayentered into an agreement with city-based SurgeForthTechnologies to launch a portal for the purpose.

The www.emplyabilitybridge.com will enable students toidentify the type and number of vacancies available incompanies which are members of the chamber.

"About 1,400 member companies of CII will be able toinform the academia about employee requirement and the kind ofstudents they expect, depending on which we can provide accessfor students from Tier-II and III cities," SurgeforthTechnologies Director Emmanuel Justus said.

CII Educational Panel Convenor, Vice-Chairman of TAKESolutions H R Srinivasan and SurgeForth Technologies DirectorAmbalavanan Ramachandran exchanged documents on the occasion.
