Builder shoots self dead

New Delhi, Jan 17 (PTI) A 42-year-old builder allegedlyshot himself dead in west Delhi this evening apparentlydepressed over problems in business, police said.

The incident took place in Janakpuri at around 6:15 pm.

The victim has been identified as Rajinder, a contractor withNational Buildings Construction Corporation Ltd (NBCC).

Rajinder shot at his right temple, a senior policeofficial said adding he was rushed to Deen Dayal UpadhyayHospital where he was declared brought dead.

No suicide note was recovered from him but policesuspect that business related issues could be the reasonbehind the incident.

"His family told us that the NBCC had to settle somemoney and he was a little depressed about it," the officialsaid.
