Select spices fall on subdued demand

Mumbai, Jan 17 (PTI) Ginger bleached and unbleachedprices declined at the spices market here today due to reducedbuying from stockists and retailers as well as lower exportofftake.

Copra office Kozhikode also moved down owing to poordomestic demand.

Ginger bleached dipped by Rs 10 per kilo to Rs 220 fromlast weekend''s closing level of Rs 230 and ginger unbleachedeased by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 240 as against Rs 245 previously.

Copra office Kozhikode slipped by Rs 50 per quintal toRs 6,250 from Rs 6,300 last Saturday.

Meanwhile, other spices closed stable in the absence ofnecessary buying support.
