Roll back petrol price hike: Sukhbir to UPA
Chandigarh, Jan 16 (PTI) Pumjab Deputy Chief Ministerand SAD chief Sukhbir Singh Badal today asked the Congress-ledUPA government at the Centre to immediately roll back the hikein petrol price.
In a statement here, he said the increase in petrolprice by Rs seven within 30 days showed the government wasplaying into the hands of a multinational oil lobby.
There was no transparent formula to determine theprice of petroleum products, Badal said.
He alleged the UPA government had failed on allfronts and demanded an immediate roll back in the hike inpetrol price.
