Robbers decamp with safe containing cash
Bhopal, Jan 17 (PTI) Three robbers looted Rs 4.4 lakh ata gunpoint from a petrol pump located on the Hoshangabad Roadin Misrod area here.
The robbers, who came in a four-wheeler, entered thepetrol pump''s cabin around 4.30 am yesterday, and decampedwith a safe weighing 5.5 quintle which contained cash of Rs3.8 lakh, police said today.
The trio also took away Rs 24,000 from two employeesand Rs 35,000 kept in a drawer.
They also beat up some of the employees, police said.
The petrol pump is owned by Ajay Singh, who is thePresident of the Madhya Pradesh Petroleum Dealer''sAssociation.
Police are looking for the culprits.
