Omar giving publicity to flag hoisting plan: BJP

Jammu, Jan 17 (PTI) The BJP today said the"unnecessary" statements of Jammu and Kashmir Chief MinisterOmar Abdullah are giving publicity to the party''s youth wing''splan to hoist the tricolour at Lal Chowk on Republic Day.

"Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has been makingunnecessary statements every day about the hoisting ofnational flag thus indirectly giving publicity to BJYM�sprogramme", BJP''s J&K state incharge Om Prakash Hohli saidwhile addressing a party workers in Tomal near here.

"Due to the statements of CM, the programme of flaghoisting has become a talk of every one in India," he said.

The BJP leader added the tricolour hoisting at LalChowk under its Rashtriya Ekta Yatra carries a message of"national unity." PTI AB AKG
