Maruti showroom looted, one killed

Panchkula, Jan 17 (PTI) Unidentified persons struck aMaruti showroom and looted cash worth lakhs of rupees afterkilling the security personnel on duty in an industrial areahere, police said today.

When employees of the showroom came for duty in themorning, they found it ransacked and the body of the securityguard, Parshuram, lying in a nearby car, police said.

It is estimated that the miscreants decamped witharound Rs 15 to 20 lakh from the showroom late last night,they said.

Parshuram''s body had injury marks and chilli powderhas also been recovered from the spot, they added.
